The process could not execute 'sp_replcmds' on

Today I ran in to a bit of a bizarre error message when setting up replication.   After initializing the subscription I tried starting the log reader agent, but it never wanted to start. It kept on telling me that “The process could not execute 'sp_replcmds'” could not be executed. I opened replication monitor for a closer look at the error message, after going through the details of the log reader agent i was surprised to find three messages. Following are the messages as they were listed on the agent history. ·           The process could not execute 'sp_replcmds' on 'SQL\LAB01' .
